In addition to our Tucson, AZ, office practice, Dr. Pandhi does dental house calls primarily on Thursday and Fridays.
As dentists in Tucson, we recognize transportation is the biggest issue for many of our patients that are home bound or in the nursing home. These patients have to pay high fees, wait for hours at a time and rely on scheduling they can’t control just to access basic procedures. Instead, we bring the procedure to them!
Dr. Pandhi can perform nearly all the same procedures during dental house calls as in his office: fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges, restorative work, and periodontal treatments, including root planning and scaling.
During his fellowship at the University of Washington School of Dentistry he had the opportunity to receive specialized training on how to treat the medically compromised and developmentally disabled — knowing the limitations and precautions and any special measures needed to treat them. This has become a focused specialty in his career for nearly 30 years.
We do restrict this service to those who are not able to come to the office or who face serious difficulties in doing so. Our goal is to provide services to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access to dental treatments by dentists in Tucson.
